Apple Pie French Toast

Ingredients

  • French Toast
  • ½ tablespoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 loaf of challah bread
  • Crumble Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoon cold butter
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Apple Topping
  • 3 granny smith apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

Apples

Peel and slice apples.

Cover in brown sugar and cinnamon.

Let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes or until soften.

Crumble

In a bowl use a fork to mix flour, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon.

Cover a sheet pan with a wax paper.

Bake for 5 minutes in 300-degree oven.

Mix eggs, cream nutmeg, and cinnamon.

Dip bread in egg mixture.

Cook for 2 minutes per side.
