Basked Pasta

Serves: 6 to 8 Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pasta noodles (ziti, penne, or rotoni)
  • ½ cup fresh diced roma tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ table spoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound shredded cheese (½ cup each parmesan mozzarella)

Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a boil

Cook pasta al dente according to box instructions

Heat skillet over medium heat

Add olive oil

Add Italian sausage. Mix in garlic powder and Italian seasoning

Cook sausage until brown. About 10 minutes

Add tomatoes and marinara sauce let simmer for 5 minutes

Salt to taste

Mix in pasta and cheese (save some cheese for the top)

Put everything in an oven safe dish and top with cheese

Bake in 350 oven until cheese is melted

Notes

Pro Tip: If you have an oven safe pot used it instead. Less to clean up.
