Cast Iron Skillet NachosPrint Recipe
- 1-pound Lean ground beef
- ½ tablespoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 pack taco seasoning
- 1 8-ounce can of pinto beans (rinsed and drained)
- 1 Onion diced
- 3 Garlic cloves minced
- 1 Jalapeño sliced
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup of Mexican blend cheese
- Fresh cilantro roughly chopped
- Corn chips
Using a cast iron skillet, heat oil over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic.
Add beans and salt. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add taco seasoning to ground beef. Cook until brown.
Add beans and salsa. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
Top with cheese place in 350-degree pre-heated oven for 5 minutes
Top with tomato, cilantro, and jalapeno.
Serve with chips!
