Classic Meatloaf

Classic ground beef meatloaf recipe

Serves: 6-8 Cooking Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ cup Ketchup (or enough to cover loaf)

Instructions

Dice celery and onion. Chop celery leaves.

Sauté veggies over medium heat for 5 minutes. Let Cool.

In a large bowl mix seasoning, bread crumbs, celery leaf, cooled veggies, and eggs.

Form into a loaf or use loaf pan.

Cover with ketchup.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
