Fried Mac & Cheese Balls

Serves: 4 to 6

Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover macaroni and cheese
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup plain planko breadcrumbs
  • 3 cups vegetable oil (enough for frying)
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Spoon mac & cheese into balls. Place in freezer for 1 hour.

Beat eggs. Mix breadcrumbs.

Dip balls into egg mixture and then breadcrumb mixture. Evenly coat each ball.

Heat oil over medium heat

Fry balls a few at a time until golden brown. 3-4 minutes.
